2-hour Whale Watch

THIS IS AN LGBTQ YOUTH SAFE ZONE

Please arrive at 1:30 pm for check-in at the lot nearest the coast guard station.

Tickets are $30.00 for adults in advance

$40.00 day of as long as there are seats available.

$20.00 for LGBTQ youth and Youth Allies.

This event sells out every year and as we all know February is peak whale watching season.

North Pacific Humpback Whales leave the icy waters around Alaska during the fall, swimming practically non-stop for nearly 6 to 8 weeks before reaching their Hawaiian winter home, where they mate, give birth, and nurture their calves. Their annual migration of about 6,000 miles is one of the longest of any mammal.

Before making their voyage back to Alaska, we the public have the opportunity to witness these amazing creatures as they participate in their annual ritual right here in Maui.

Also, we play disco music on the boat and the whales really like it…  clearly they are inspired by Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor. (as are we all)
